The Laclarée technology is a refraction-based solution using liquids. The liquids, as well as a thin membrane, are inserted in an ordinary ophthalmic lens. The design of the lens and the transparency of its components make the Laclarée technology invisible.

The external ophthalmic lens is selected according to the static refractive anomalies; any prescription, including astigmatism, can be handled. The adaptive part of the lens spreads over a large centered zone adapted to everyday activities and provides the necessary addition in the range 0 to 3D.
